Glasgow Wildcats

GLASGOW WILDCATS – WANT TO INVOLVE YOU

A Glasgow based Netball Super League Franchise, led by Culture and Sport Glasgow, has been established in partnership with Netball Scotland and Glasgow Netball Association.

This is a very exciting time for netball in Scotland and this initiative is seen as the catalyst for improving Scotland’s world ranking and in particular the development of elite players towards 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The League will run from October to April – please find enclosed a copy of the confirmed Home league fixtures, which will be mainly at the Kelvin Hall ISA.

A large team of volunteers will be required to support the delivery of Home Matches and we would be interested in hearing from anyone who would like to be involved.

An events management group will be established and we are looking for key individuals who would like to be part of this very exciting programme of home matches. Further to this, we will require a host of volunteers on the day of each match, including:

· Announcers
· Timekeepers
· Scorers
· Statisticians
· Stewards
· Merchandise sales & programme sales
· Ball girls
· Door - Ticket collection

Volunteers are a valuable part of our game and a tremendous support system to the sport.

If you would like to express an interest in becoming involved with Glasgow Wildcats as a volunteer or would like any further information please contact Arlene Leary on Arlene.leary@csglasgow.org
