Safeguarding and Protecting Children Course

LNA Match Rules

LNA Match Rules 2008-2009

It was decided at the league meeting that an official table is necessary on Thursday nights at Larkhall to ensure the smooth running of the league. This will be manned by two people who will keep score, time the matches and allocate Player of the Match.

All teams must provide 1 person to man the official table on the Thursday nights their team is playing. If your team is playing the 1st game then 1 person must stay behind to officiate the second game and vice versa. It is the responsibility of each team to allocate players for this task and a penalty will occur if a team fails to provide a player.

All teams will be provided with a stopwatch which must be available for the official table.

Teams should use the 2 separate seating areas and must vacate these areas after their game.

All team sheets must be completed with players’ names and handed to the official table BEFORE your match starts.

Umpires will sign the team sheet at the official table. Umpires will not sign the team sheet unless it is filled in completely.

Umpires will now be paid £15 per match.

Umpires will be paid BEFORE they umpire their match.

If umpires are unable to umpire their allocated match, it is their responsibility to find another umpire.

Please ensure that all rubbish/drink bottles are cleared from the area when you leave.
