Super Cup Round 3

Blades -v- Sharks

The game had a slow start, with the slowest to hit the scoreboard so far this season. Blades finally were first to score and Sharks got caught up but Blades finished 8-7 ahead. The second quarter was more fluid and Blades pulled ahead as a result of many hesitant passes from Sharks, forcing errors. Finally the 3rd quarter saw the pace the game deserved and it was an exhilarating match at last. Sharks pulled ahead to win that quarter 24-26 and continued their good play in the 4th to win the game 33-40.

All Stars -v- Scottish U21

Great start by both teams. All Stars played very well compared to the 1st game against the U21 in the Super Cup. The score was a respectable 8-12 to U21. Several missed goals from All Stars in the 2nd quarter meant U21 pulled ahead 16-24. This was a highly charged game and the 3rd saw a better round for All Stars. The defence played a great game in the 4th but U21 pulled ahead to win the game 30-60.
